Ingredients
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 4 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 Cup AP Flour
- 4 tsp Yellow Cornmeal
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Directions
- Grease and preheat the waffle iron.
- In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks, buttermilk, and butter until well combined.
- In a seperate bowl whisk together the dry ingredients.
- Stir the dry into the wet ingredients and dont beat the batter.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently flod into the batter.
- Cook waffles in waffle iron, keep finished waffles in oven at 200F to keep them crispy.
