A traditional british dessert.
Ingredients
- Meringue
- 2 eggs
- 50g sugar
- 2 drops of lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Whipped creme
- Creme
- Sugar
- Vanilla
- Filling
- Strawberries (or other fuit)
Instructions
- Seperate out egg yolks from egg whites, beat the egg whites untill a stiff foam is made.
- Add in the sugar slowly so the foam does not collapse, then add in the vanilla.
- Put the meringue on a baking sheet in small dallops, the portions must be small enough to dry them out.
- Bake at 225 F for an hour to hour and a half, turn off oven and let dry out overnight.
- Crumble the meringue into larger crumbs and set aside.
- Next, make the whipped creme by whipping creme in a bowl, this will be the base of the dessert. Add in some sugar and vanilla if desired, making it under sweet is prefered.
- Slice strawberries into small slices, add in a bit of sugar. Let sit until a suryp is created in the strawberries.
- Add whipped creme, maringue, and strawberries into a bowl, and enjoy. Make the dessert when it is going to be eaten.
