NY Cheesecake

A basic cheesecake recipe.

Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 325F
  2. Combine dry graham cracker ingredients to a bowl add butter and mix well.
  3. Form crust in a 9’ sprinqform pan by pressing firmly to bottom of pan. Using a glass or other flat bottom object can help.

Chessecake

  1. Use stand mixer and add cream cheese, stir until creamy then add sugar and combine.
  2. Add sour cream, vanilla, satl, and stir until combined.
  3. Gradually add beaten eggs one at a time just until incorporated.
  4. Pour into springform pan and bake at 325F for 50-60 minutes. Place a pan below to catch any leaks.
  5. Once the center is like Jello remove and let cool for about 1-2 hours before transfering to the fridge.
  6. Once cooled (at least 6 hours or so) remove the ring and serve.
